Présidente Directrice Générale

Nousrath Bhugeloo est la Présidente Directrice Générale de Nexus Global Financial Services Limited. Elle a plus de 20 ans d’expérience dans les services aux entreprises.
Elle est une figure connue du monde des affaires avec une expérience reconnue de services conseils fournis à des multinationales, fonds d’investissement, family offices et entrepreneurs individuels afin d’augmenter leur valeur et les aider dans leurs transactions transfrontalières. Nousrath siège au conseil d’administration de plusieurs sociétés et fonds actifs en Afrique. Lors d’une précédente fonction, elle fut responsable de la stratégie de croissance à ABAX qui fit l’objet d’une acquisition par Ocorian en 2018. Dans ce rôle notamment elle fut la cheville ouvrière de la croissance d’ABAX en particulier sur le continent africain. Membre Associé du Chartered Governance Institute et détentrice d’un Executive MBA de Essex Business School, Nousrath soutient activement le rôle des femmes dans le milieu des affaires.

Administrateur

Ahmud Ismael Parwiz Jugoo est un administrateur non-exécutif de Nexus Global Financial Services Limited. Avocat de profession, M. Jugoo exerce notamment dans le milieu des affaires et le secteur financier de Maurice. Dans le passé, M. Jugoo a occupé les fonctions de Directeur Général de MADACOM S.A. à Madagascar et Conseiller Légal de Celtel, Zain (Groupe MTC) et Airtel.
M. Jugoo a agi comme conseiller légal pour plusieurs multinationales des télécommunications lors d’offres pour des licences de télécommunications et a fait partie des équipes de fusions et acquisitions lors de transactions importantes. Il a agi comme conseiller légal pour le Groupe Distacom qui détenait Orange (maintenant PCCW) à Hong Kong, Spice Telecom en Inde, et MADACOM S.A. à Madagascar. M. Jugoo a prodigué des conseils lors d’appel d’offres de licences GSM en Côte d’Ivoire, RDC, Mayotte, Comores, Anjouan, Maurice, Afrique du Sud et Liban. Il a été en stage auprès de Lord Marks QC de Inner Temple en Angleterre et de Nicolas Sorenson du Barreau d’Aix-en-Provence en France.

Narvin Bhugawn est détenteur d’une licence en finance de l’Université de Maurice. Il occupe actuellement le poste de Directeur Adjoint au sein de Nexus.
Il a notamment pour responsabilité de superviser les services offerts à la clientèle. Il siège également au conseil d’administration de sociétés administrées par Nexus. Avant de se joindre à Nexus, Narvin occupait le poste de Directeur Associé chez Ocorian Corporate Services (Mauritius) Ltd (précédemment connu comme ABAX) où il a travaillé pendant 9 ans.

Yoshanee Boodia est titulaire d’un MBA de l’Université de Northampton. Elle travaille depuis quinze ans dans le secteur financier offshore. Elle occupe actuellement le poste de Directrice Adjointe chez Nexus où elle a la responsabilité de l’administration d’un portefeuille de clients. Avant de se joindre à Nexus, elle a occupé le poste de Directrice de Clientèle au sein de Ocorian Corporate Services (Mauritius) Ltd. Au cours d’emplois précédents au sein de sociétés de gestion réputées, Yoshanee a été responsable de clientèle pour maints clients, délivrant des services d’administration de fonds et de sociétés de même que des services de secrétariat juridique tout en étant responsable de gérer directement une équipe.

Naweed occupe actuellement le poste de Directeur Financier au sein de la firme. Avant de se joindre à Nexus, il avait cumulé quinze ans d’expérience professionnelle. Il a passé huit ans dans le secteur de l’audit au sein des Big Four, notamment PwC, EY et KPMG et plus récemment plus de trois ans avec IQEQ Maurice. Au cours de sa carrière d’auditeur, il a été exposé à plusieurs types d’entreprise incluant des banques, des fonds d’investissement et des société cotées en bourse. A IQEQ il s’est occupé de l’aspect comptable des fonds avant de rejoindre l’équipe de Préparation des États Financiers spécialisée dans les états financiers IFRS.

Kjell Ekstrom is an Associate Member of the Chartered Governance Institute and is a member of the Mauritius Institute of Directors. (MIOD)

He has been working in the Global Business sector for the past twenty-two (22) years and has achieved excellency in servicing both local and global corporations as well as international high net worth individuals.

Kjell currently holds the position of Director at Nexus Global Financial Services Ltd (Nexus) where he heads up the Operations of the Company.

Out of college, Kjell started his career as a Trust Administrator at Standard Bank Trust Company (Mauritius) Ltd and then moved to Abax Corporate Services Ltd now known as Ocorian where he rose through the ranks to become Associate Director of Operations.

Kjell has then held the position of COO of Dolphin Management Services Ltd.

Prior to joining Nexus, Kjell was Executive Director/ Head of Operations at Brent Consulta Management Services Limited.

Girish is a degree holder in Management (Minor: Finance) from the University of Mauritius. He has been working in the Global Business Sector for over 11 years. He currently holds the post of Senior Manager at Nexus Global Financial Services Limited (“Nexus”) where he is responsible for Fund Administration, Company Secretarial and Relationship Management duties. He also acts as a director on various Global Business Licence Companies and Authorised Companies under the administration of Nexus. In a previous position, he was an Associate Manager at IQ EQ Global Business (Mauritius) Ltd, where he worked for 9 years in Fund, Corporate, Trust, Foundations and Domestic Structures. Girish is also a former trader of financial derivatives at GHF Futures Ltd.

Jenna is a Senior Corporate Administrative Officer. With over 15 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry, she brings her wealth of experience and diverse skills set to the table. Her background in customer service, legal affairs, and human resources positions her as an asset in ensuring the smooth functioning of corporate operations. Jenna’s ability to seamlessly transition between divisions speaks to her versatility, making her an integral part of the Nexus team.

Tiffany is a dedicated Corporate Administrator with a management diploma from MCCI Business School and a background as a Sales Representative in a signage company. Meticulously detail oriented, she brings passion and precision to her role, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. Committed to contributing to organisational success, Tiffany leverages her skills to enhance the company’s endeavours. Beyond work, her interest in interior design reflects a balance of analytical prowess and aesthetic flair. Excited to be part of the team, she thrives on the intersection of precision and passion, driving excellence in every aspect of corporate administration.

Darina Armoogum occupe actuellement le poste d’Agent d’Administration chez Nexus. Elle détient une licence en droit et gestion de Open University de Maurice. Elle est responsable du secrétariat juridique et de l’administration de différentes structures relevant du secteur offshore de Maurice et d’autres juridictions. Avant de rejoindre Nexus, Darina a été Conseillère Clients à BlueConnect Ltd, poste qu’elle a occupé pendant qu’elle poursuivait ses études pour sa licence.

Smitee Bhugowandeen is currently a Corporate Administrator at Nexus Global Financial Services Limited (Nexus). She is a degree holder in Business Management with Specialization in Marketing from Open University of Mauritius. She is responsible for company secretarial and administration of different types of structures falling under the Mauritian Global Business and other jurisdictions. Prior to joining Nexus, Smitee was working as Business Support Assistant with CIM Financial Services Ltd while pursuing her degree.

Rebecca Baseme is a graduate with an honors degree in Business Management from the African Leadership College/Glasgow Caledonian University.
During her past professional experiences, she gained skills in accounting, business development and customer services.
She currently holds the position of Junior Corporate Administrator at Nexus Global Financial Services Limited.

With over 14 years of experience in Administrative and HR duties, Manisha recognises the pivotal role of an independent mediator in ensuring the organisation’s welfare. She strongly advocates for HR Outsourcing services, emphasizing the value of an external perspective in shaping the HR department’s evolution in an organisation. Her professional journey spreads over 20 years across diverse industries implying the Freight Forwarding, Aviation, ICT, and Administrative and HR fields. Her expertise extends to serving as Company Secretary for several Mauritian companies.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Manisha is a member of the Board of Good, a Mauritian platform for Women Directors empowering Mauritian Women Leaders who embody the principles of moral and inclusive leadership; a member of MBN – Mauritius Business Network; a member of the AMFCE – Association Mauricienne des Femmes Chefs d’Entreprises. Notably, she is the Founder and Secretary of the Star and Key Association in Mauritius, committed to enhancing educational programs, promoting environmental sustainability, fostering multiculturalism and community respect, and supporting to alleviate poverty by providing a decent living to the needy.

Marie Behrens embodies a serial entrepreneur’s spirit and a seasoned Business Development professional. Her extensive 15-year international journey spans forging pivotal partnerships and curating sustainable value for industry leaders. Her forte lies in identifying advantageous ecosystems to drive lasting value, forming robust business alliances, and optimizing operations. Marie currently holds the position of Business Development Director at Nexus Global Financial Services Limited, leading teams, spotting opportunities and fostering genuine relationships built on integrity.

Didier is a 27-year-old professional with a solid educational foundation, having earned a BA (Hons) in Law with Management and an LLM in International Business Law with a pathway to Mediation and Arbitration. He is furthermore a member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists.

Professionally, he is a Compliance Manager and Deputy MLRO. His skills include expertise in compliance and anti-money laundering. Beyond work, Didier enjoys activities like hiking and photography. In the past, he has contributed as the Director of Public Relations for the Rotaract Club, showcasing his commitment to community engagement and leadership.

Adarsh occupe actuellement le poste de Comptable dans le Département de Comptabilité Client de la firme. Avant de rejoindre Nexus, il a travaillé pendant huit mois comme comptable pour un fonds où il a acquis l’expérience dans la préparation des Valeurs Nettes des Actifs et de la comptabilité client. Il est responsable d’un portefeuille de clients et s’occupe de leur comptabilité. Il poursuit actuellement ses études en comptabilité (ACCA).

Farhaan occupe actuellement le poste de Comptable dans le Département de Comptabilité Client de la firme. Il avait déjà cumulé quatre années d’expérience professionnelle avant de se joindre à Nexus. Il a travaillé deux ans dans le secteur offshore pour BDO Solutions Ltd et deux ans avec la firme comptable UHY Advisory Ltd. Au cours de sa carrière de comptable, il a été exposé à divers secteurs d’activité dont entre autres le secteur de l’hôtellerie, l’alimentaire et la construction.

Assif est actuellement un Comptable dans le Département de Comptabilité Client de la firme. Avant de rejoindre Nexus, il a passé dix-huit mois chez UHY Advisory Ltd, une firme comptable. Au cours de sa carrière de comptable, il a été exposé à divers secteurs d’activité dont entre autres le secteur de l’hôtellerie, l’alimentaire et la construction.

Noor has 15 years of professional experience spent wholly in the finance sector. Before joining Nexus, she worked at Shibani Finance Co Ltd. Prior to joining the back office in the accounting department of Shibani Finance she worked at the front office in different branches as foreign exchange dealer. Prior to her position as Assistant Accountant she worked as Accounts Officer. These posts have enabled her to gain valuable accounting knowledge in relation to financial institutions. During her last few years at Shibani, she worked alongside the CEO. She gained valuable experience in many different fields including the opportunity to assist different external auditors during the annual audit. She is a level 2 ACCA student.

Elodie joined the company two years ago as a trainee while pursuing her undergraduate degree in Accounting with Finance. She is currently an accountant. She is passionate about her work and is self-motivated. Her main responsibilities as an accountant are billings, cashflow & debtors management, VAT returns and client accounting for Global Business Licence companies and Authorised Companies. She aspires to grow personally and professionally within the organisation and aims for a higher position in the long term.

Richeline has been present at the office since its inception. An office manager with outstanding organisation skills, she deals with all her administrative tasks with zeal and celerity. A key member of the company, her role is crucial as she ensures the office administration is run smoothly. A dedicated person-oriented individual, she makes sure no birthday at the office goes without celebration. With a flair for design and decoration, all office celebrations under her control are executed in a masterly fashion.
