Mauritius is compliant with EU Tax Good Governance Principles by the Economic and Financial Affairs Council of the European Union. Mauritius is also compliant with all the 40 recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force relating to Anti Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) matters. Mauritius is also party to OECD’s Multilateral Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters and currently has an exchange information mechanism with 127 jurisdictions.
