Mauritius is also compliant with all the 40 recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force relating to Anti Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) matters. Mauritius is also party to OECD’s Multilateral Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters and currently has an exchange information mechanism with 127 jurisdictions.
